Make it a big day at Tigers with group booking

Figure image
Joining a group booking is a brilliant way to share in a Leicester Tigers matchday at Welford Road.At every match we welcome hundreds of visitors as part of group bookings from schools and colleges, workplaces, rugby clubs and many other organisations, as well as parties of friends and work colleagues enjoying a celebration or a reunion.   Our last home game, against Exeter Chiefs a fortnight ago, provided our biggest group day of the season so far with 33 bookings from rugby clubs, schools, colleges, universities and businesses, plus four rugby tours and 10 clubs joining us for Tigers Matchday Coaching Clinics.   As well as enjoying the best in domestic rugby matchday experiences, some of our groups even manage to follow in the footsteps of legends on the Welford Road pitch with a half-time photo alongside a Tigers player.   A group day to a Welford Road matchday is truly an unbeatable experience. But don’t just take our word for it, this is what some of our groups have had to say:   “I have welcomed back home a tired son and husband, both of whom had a great weekend in Leicester. “Everyone came off the bus in good spirits. The boys got loads out of the coaching and the match-up between Beaconsfield and Market Bosworth was a huge success, so really grateful for your help in putting us in touch with them.  They gave the boys a very warm welcome and the two teams were well matched.” Siobhan Peters, Beaconsfield RFC   “Can I pass on my thanks on behalf of the Maidstone RFC Under-15s and parents to all at Tigers for the excellent day.   “The boys really enjoyed the Matchday Coaching Clinic. They particularly enjoyed the session with John Cross and from a coach’s perspective it was great that a man with a clear passion and authority of his subject was able to get through to the boys who were then asking us when we can start doing some of the drills. “Thanks to all the players and to Richard Cockerill for taking time to pose for photos and sign stuff.  My son got a selfie with Manu at half-time which he was chuffed with, but he then tweeted it and got a response from Manu that has made his year. It's great that rugby players are still accessible to fans and long may this continue.  Thanks again.” Alan Ayling, tour manager Maidstone RFC U15s   Group bookings are still available for the Tigers’ next home game, against London Welsh at Welford Road this Saturday (April 25). Kick-off is at 3pm and as this game is not scheduled for live TV coverage, the only place to see all of the action is at the home of the Leicester Tigers.
