The publishers of the History of Leicester Tigers are planning a special end-of-season sale for the book, starting next week. The 500-page book, written by journalist David Hands and official club historian/statistician Stuart Farmer, has proved popular with rugby supporters in the UK and overseas, gaining praise for the quality of its text, illustrations and statistics covering more than 130 years of the club’s history.
Remaining copies will be available at a special reduced price of £30 including post and packaging during May, subject to availability.
Order at this price only at the website www.rugby-foundation.org.uk or at a stall at the DX Awards Night at Welford Road on Tuesday and in Final Whistle at our home game against Northampton Saints on Saturday, May 16.
Profits from the History of Leicester Tigers book will benefit the Rugby Development Foundation, a charitable organisation backing grassroots rugby including the development of players through the Tigers.
