Andy Gibb, managing director at the Ricoh Arena, said: “I think everyone agrees this is a long-awaited match between local rivals,” he said. “As this is a complete sell-out we want to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible so I would appeal to everyone to get here early.” The Ricoh Arena’s previous record crowd of 31,407 was set during Coventry City’s FA Cup quarter-final against Chelsea in 2009 while Saturday’s match will also break the Aviva Premiership home ground attendance record of 28,254 set at Wasps’ inaugural game in Coventry against London Irish last December.
