Leicester Tigers have been drawn alongside Stade Francais, Munster and Treviso in the pool stages of next season's European Rugby Champions Cup.Tigers, among six English qualifiers, are playing in Europe’s elite club tournament for a 19th season.   The draw for Europe’s Champions Cup and Challenge Cup was held in Switzerland this afternoon.   Tigers have met all of next season’s opponents on numerous occasions in European competition, including finals against Stade and Munster.   Stade Francais are the current French champions after victory over Clermont Auvergne in the final last Saturday and have met Tigers eight times in Europe’s top-flight tournament, most recently in the 2007 quarter-finals at Welford Road.   Tigers and Munster first met in the 2002 Final when Leicester became the first team to retain the trophy. They met in a quarter-final won by the visitors at Welford Road in 2003 and in the pool stages in 2006/07 when Munster won again on Tigers turf before Leicester historically turned the tables in Round 6 and became the first away team to win at Thomond Park in Europe.   Drawn together three times in the last five seasons, there are further links between Tigers and Treviso with back-rower Robert Barbieri returning to the Italian club this summer after a season in England alongside his former Treviso colleagues Leonardo Ghiraldini, Michele Rizzo and Christian Loamanu.   Order of fixtures, dates and times will be confirmed by organisers European Professional Club Rugby and broadcast partners later this summer. The opening weekend is in mid-November, after four rounds of league action.   The finals of the Champions Cup and Challenge Cup will be hosted at the new 59,000-capacity Grand Stade de Lyon set for completion early next year. The Challenge Cup decider us on Friday, May 13, with the Champions Cup final the following day.  All home fixtures in the pool stages of the Champions Cup are included in Tigers season tickets.
