The iconic home of Leicester Tigers has been recognised as a top performing visitor attraction by TripAdvisor, the world's most visited travel website.Welford Road has received a Certificate of Excellence from TripAdvisor after earning consistently great reviews from visitors, making it one of the top attractions in Leicester.   TripAdvisor user Victoria C posted: “The Leicester Tigers home ground is a wonderful venue, enhanced by the friendly atmosphere of the fans.”   Stig0505 added: “Nothing in England quite compares to the atmosphere when the Tigers walk onto the pitch. A great atmosphere and a good quality game.”   It is the latest award for Welford Road, which was named Rugby Venue of the Year at the Rugby Expo Awards and was recognised as a leading hospitality venue at the Stadium Business Awards.   Work has started on the redevelopment of the new West Stand meaning even more people will be able to enjoy the magic of a matchday at Welford Road.   The stand will increase capacity at Welford Road to just less than 26,000 when it opens for the start of the new season.   TripAdvisor.co.uk gives users the chance to review travel-related content, ranging from hotels, restaurants, and days out, and Marc Charron, president of TripAdvisor for business said: “By putting a spotlight on businesses that are focused on delivering great service to customers, TripAdvisor not only helps drive an improvement to hospitality standards around the world, but also gives businesses both large and small the ability to shine and stand out from the competition.”   Now Tigers want supporters to have their say on how to make the matchday experience at Welford Road even better.   Project Welford is the Leicester Tigers annual survey, giving you the opportunity to have a say about your club.   More than 1,000 supporters completed Project Welford last season, helping us make improvements across a range of areas including matchdays and how the club communicates with supporters. Help us continue to build your club by clicking here to complete Project Welford. You can take part in Project Welford whether you've been to a match or not, so please click and contribute so we can get to know you better. And as a thank-you for your support, we will also enter every participant into a lucky draw for your chance to win next season's home shirt and meet members of Tigers team at the official launch of the 2015/16 shirt, if you complete the survey before July 15.
