A summer of Tigers Rugby Camps kicks off next week with new signing Dom Barrow and centre Charlie Thacker set to offer their advice to the next generation of players.Second-row Barrow, who moved to Welford Road this summer, will visit Coalville RFC on Tuesday afternoon, when he will take part in a Q&A and pass on his expert tips.   Thacker will talk about the route that took him from Tigers Rugby Camps as a youngster to a first-team debut away to London Irish in last season’s LV= Cup when he visits the University of Leicester on Tuesday.   The Coalville camp runs from Monday, July 20 to Wednesday, July 22 for U9s to U14s with a half-day tag rugby sessions for the youngest players.   The week-long camp at the University of Leicester runs from July 20-24 and is for U9s to U14s only. He will be joined at the camp by John Cross, a specialist sprint training coach, who has worked with Leicester Tigers and Leicester City first team squads and Academies and will give an insight into strength and conditioning in professional sport.   Cross will also be at the University of Leicester camp.   Tigers are also hosting camps based at clubs and schools in Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and Leicestershire during the rest of the summer holidays and places are filling up fast, with the Lichfield camp (July 27 to July 31) already sold out.   Click here to find a camp near you.
