Leicester Tigers were joined by representatives of the club's three charities for the 2015/16 season for a photoshoot at Oval Park. Each year Tigers adopt three charities and are delighted to announce that the Matt Hampson Foundation, PROSTaid, and the Rik Basra Leukaemia Campaign will be the club’s charities for the coming season.
Tigers welcome the charities to the training ground earlier this week for a series of photos with Tigers players and coaches in the new home kit, which was officially launched on Thursday.
Matt Hampson Foundation
Matt Hampson chose to Get Busy Living after sustaining his life changing injury in 2005. This is the philosophy behind everything the Matt Hampson Foundation aims to do:
We help people get busy living again after a life-altering injury, whether by helping them get back into sport or just assisting in making adjustments to their new life, we are there to help and support them on their chosen path.
All of our beneficiaries are getting busy living and we are very proud of this fact.
Our purpose is to inspire and support young people seriously injured through sport.
Our mission - GET BUSY LIVING - is to create a support network of people seriously injured through sport and their families to help each other by sharing knowledge and experiences.

PROSTaid
With University Hospital Leicester Oncology Department, we now fund a new full time prostate cancer oncology nurse at Leicester Royal Infirmary. This nurse provides vital care for men with advanced prostate cancer.
In total we are funding three prostate cancer nurses, one a community palliative prostate cancer nurse in Northamptonshire, and two prostate cancer nurses at University Hospitals Leicester, one in Urology at the point of diagnosis and one in Oncology.
We buy the latest cutting-edge treatment equipment for local hospitals.
Funding the cost of the introduction of the latest HDR Brachytherapy treatment for prostate cancer. This will improve the treatment times of local patients undergoing radiotherapy for prostate cancer by 40 per cent
We work hard to raise awareness and educate, so prostate cancer is spotted earlier and can be treated effectively
We provide information and support for men diagnosed with prostate cancer.
We have a monthly support meeting at the Cradock Arms, Knighton Leicester LE3 3TT at 7.30pm on the third Thursday of every month.
Everyone is welcome to come along!

Rik Basra Leukaemia Campaign
Someone is diagnosed with blood cancer every 20 minutes in the UK. For many a stem cell transplant will be their only chance but half of patients will never find a match.
Rik Basra, from Leicester, was one of those desperately-ill patients. His search for a donor proved problematic.
Despite just 4 per cent of the register made up of minority donors, Rik miraculously found a donor at the eleventh hour from Germany. However, many others are not so fortunate.
The Rik Basra Leukaemia Campaign runs registration drives in the heart of communities. We work with colleges, universities, faith, cultural, sporting and corporate venues, in fact, anywhere we can recruit young donors.
We've run more than 200 registration drives to date and signed up thousands of lifesavers to the Anthony Nolan Stem Cell Register.
But match rates are also thousands to one so there is still much more to do. Every person we sign up is a chance of life for someone. Believe it or not Leicester is now second only to London for stem cell recruitment numbers in the whole UK!
