Sale Sharks: Travel information

Sale Sharks have a new Travel Plan in place for supporters ahead of the new season, including the Kings of the North visit from Leicester Tigers this Saturday.If you are travelling to the North-West, please note that kick-off at the AJ Bell Stadium is at 2.30pm.   As roadworks continue on the new direct access to the stadium from the Trafford Centre area, supporters are advised to make every effort in good time ahead of kick-off. There is limited car parking and bookings can be made by phoning 0161 786 1574. There may be spaces available on the day, but you are recommended to pre-book. Any spaces on the day cost £10 each (cash only). Car parks are emptied in rotation after the game. You can also buy online at https://www.eticketing.co.uk/salesharksrugby/   There are also various car parks in the surrounding areas. Sharks will be operating one large capacity bus from Stockport. It must be pre-booked by 5pm on Thursday (September 10). Only supporters who pre-book will be allowed on the bus. This service leaves Edgeley Mercian Way (Telescope Shop) at 12.45pm, Stockport Railway Station (rear entrance) at 12.55pm and Parrswood (outside cinema) at 1.10pm. The coach returns from the stadium 30 minutes after final whistle. Fare is £6 return. To book this service please email [email protected] stating name, number of places, required departure point. You will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours. Should you fail to receive this confirmation, please re-send your email or call 0161 820 2610. A shuttle bus will also operate from Stand 4 of the Trafford Centre Bus Station at 11.45am, 12.30pm and 1.15pm. There is parking for several thousand cars at the Trafford Centre and the bus station is next to the front entrance of Debenhams. Parking at the Trafford Centre is free. Post-match, the first bus to Trafford Centre will leave 30 minutes after the final whistle and will return at least once. No booking is required for this free service, but places will be on a first come first served basis. Arrive early to avoid disappointment. Public bus travel is also available. Check online for timetables for Greater Manchester. Nearest rail stations with bus connections to the stadium are Irlam, Patricroft and Eccles.
