Camacho helps light up London for World Cup

Gonzalo Camacho joined a host of international stars to help light up the Coca-Cola London Eye for the Rugby World Cup.The London Eye, one of the country’s most iconic landmarks, has been branded in the flags of the 20 competing nations and the tournament colours.   Camacho, who made his first Leicester Tigers start against his home country Argentina in the Marcos Ayerza Testimonial Challenge, launched the transformation with the help of famous rugby names including Jason Robinson, Adam Jones and Andrew Mehrtens.   The Rugby World Cup kicks off this Friday with host nation England taking on Fiji at Twickenham. Kick-off is at 8pm.   Final Whistle in the MET-Rx Stand will be open for supporters to watch the match on the big screens. Tickets are just £2 - refundable against refreshments - and available online and at the Tigers ticket office. The Mana Maori team will add to the southern hemisphere flavour of the evening, bringing their own cultural dance as well as running workshops to allow supporters to take their turn. A dinner featuring former international players and special entertainment is also planned. Tickets for the dinner event on the evening are £25 adults, £10 juniors for season ticket holders, and £30/£15 for all other supporters.
