Leicester Tigers include five summer signings in the matchday squad for Saturday's Kings of the North fixture against Newcastle Falcons at Welford Road (3pm).New arrivals Peter Betham, Greg Bateman, Mike Fitzgerald and Lachlan McCaffrey are all in the starting line-up, with another new arrival, flanker Mike Williams, among the replacements.   Mathew Tait captains the Tigers in the opening home fixture in Kings of the North and fellow England international Tom Croft starts in the back row in his first appearance at Welford Road since January.   Announcing the team, director of rugby Richard Cockerill said: “The squad is a bit more streamlined this week, we’ll have a look at some slightly different combinations and we’ll step up the gametime for a number of the boys, though we have to remember we’re still five weeks away from the start of the Aviva Premiership season.   “Looking back at last week, we had a few opportunities when we could have done something to get more out of the game at Sale and we’ve been working on that. It’s about learning those lessons and improving across the board.”   Home games in Kings of the North are included in Tigers season tickets.
