Leicester Tigers mascot Welford is back on the road this week, meeting Tigers Family members across the region. He could be coming to a venue near you soon.In the last couple of weeks Welford has been seen with supporters at Leicester rail station and city centre, De Montfort University sports fair, Coalville town centre, Spire Hospital Leicester and Loughborough University.
He also joined the club’s new tag rugby programme supported by The Nottingham Building Society with a visit to Market Harborough CofE Primary School.
At every visit, Welford has been sharing some great giveaways with supporters and he will be on his travels throughout the World Cup period, so keep your eyes open.
Look out for Welford over the next two days in the build-up to the Kings of the North final fixture between Tigers and Sale Sharks at Welford Road on Saturday.
