Matchday guide: Tigers versus Sale Sharks

There is another big day of rugby in store for supporters at Welford Road this Saturday as Leicester Tigers host Sale Sharks in the final game of the Kings of the North.The Tigers return for a last fixture before the start of the Aviva Premiership and silverware is at stake too as Sharks bring their unbeaten run in the Kings of the North to Welford Road with a five-point advantage over their hosts going into the final fixture.   There is plenty of international rugby too with live coverage of World Cup fixtures throughout the afternoon as Samoa take on Scotland at 2pm, Australia and Wales contest top spot in Pol A from 4.45pm and then England face Uruguay in their final game of the tournament at 8pm.   Richard Cockerill views Saturday’s match as a final rehearsal for the opening of the new Aviva Premiership season and has already revealed that international prop Logovi’i Mulipola will make his first appearance since the end of last season as the coaching team and playing squad make their preparations for the return to league action.   Admission to Saturday’s match is included in Tigers season tickets.   For all other supporters, match tickets are available now.
