Caterpillar branding for new stand

Figure image
The new West Stand at Welford Road will carry the name of Leicester Tigers main sponsors Caterpillar. The 2015/16 season is the final campaign of Caterpillar’s main sponsorship which began in 2008 and, in acknowledgement of that long-standing relationship, they will take inaugural naming rights on the new 3,000-seat stand at the Aylestone Road end of the stadium.   Supporters have a first opportunity to sit in the new Caterpillar Stand in this Sunday’s Aviva Premiership fixture against Wasps and when completed the stand will include The Clubhouse season ticket lounge, fan concourse, shop, ticket office and staff offices.   The new accommodation replaces the previous Clubhouse buildings and temporary seating which was removed at the end of last season, and when complete will take Welford Road’s capacity to almost 26,000.   The first section of seats has now been added to the stand, with facilities for supporters based in a fan area in the Crumbie car park outside this weekend and until the completion of the internal facilities.   Entry to the Caterpillar Stand is via turnstiles at the MET-Rx Stand end or directly into the fan area in the Crumbie car park.   Holland & Barrett Stand and Terrace tickets will be able to enter via the Crumbie car park and usual turnstiles at the Welford Road end of the ground.   Goldsmiths and MET-Rx Stand access is only through your usual turnstiles. Please allow extra time to access the stadium this weekend.   Match tickets are available now. Call in at Welford Road (open 9am-5pm Friday and Saturday, from 9am on matchday Sunday), phone 0116 319 8888 option 2 (open 8.30am-5pm Friday and Saturday, from 9am matchday Sunday), or click here to book online.
