Matchday guide: Tigers v Wasps

Aviva Premiership rugby returns to Welford Road on Sunday afternoon as unbeaten Leicester Tigers face Wasps in Round 3 of the new season.Kick-off is at 3.15pm and tickets are available now.   Both teams welcome back more players from World Cup duties, with Dan Cole and Tom Youngs in the Tigers line-up and Tongan duo Opeti Fonua and Telusa Veainu also included in the matchday squad while Wasps include England duo James Haskell and Joe Launchbury. Click here for all the team news from both camps.   Supporters have a first opportunity to watch the game from seats in the new Caterpillar Stand at the clubhouse end of the stadium.   Turnstiles, bars and food kiosks, plus the Junior Tigers Club area in Final Whistle, all open at 1.15pm this week.   If this is your first visit of the season, please note that all bars now use returnable glasses. Click here for more information.   The Junior Tigers Club is open for two hours ahead of kick-off with activities for young supporters, including a pre-match visit from a Tigers player and the chance to become a Tigers matchday mascot or Tiger Cub and join Welford on the pitch in the build-up to kick-off. You can sign up any supporter under the age of 16 at a home game or online now. Click here for more details.   The Tigers roadshow vehicle, known as The Maul, will be on the plaza for supporters to try the Speed Pass Challenge andcreate your souvenir of the day in the Tigers photo booth.   The Tigers Club Store is open from 9am right through until an hour after the final whistle, stocking a wide range of Tigers replica kit, leisurewear and souvenirs.   Please allow extra travelling time for Sunday’s game if your route is affected by the start of Diwali celebrations in the Melton Road area of the city.   Arriva matchday bus services on all five routes are in operation. Note that all services are due to pick up 15 minutes earlier than normal schedules to allow for any traffic congestion. Pick up your copy around the stadium, price £3.   We’ve got half-time entertainment with The Ultimate Big Boot on the pitch and we’ll present special prizes to our Season Ticket Holder of the Match and this week’s First Time Visitor winner.   There is live music with Rock Bottom in Final Whistle.   Please note there is a new access control system at all stadium entrances this season. All season ticket holders have been sent new season ticket cards to replace previous seasons’ versions.
