Players thank the Tigers Family for their support

Tigers players have thanked the club's fans for their support this season.

Members of the Tigers squad took to Twitter after the Aviva Premiership semi-final defeat to post thank you messages to the Tigers Family for their brilliant support in domestic and European competition.
 
The messages included one from Argentina international prop Marcos Ayerza, who tweeted “Another season gone and despite not getting the results we aimed for still very proud of everyone at @LeicesterTigers. Thanks for your support”

Telusa Veainu, who finished the season as Tigers' joint leading try scorer with 13, level with Vereniki Goneva, also tweeted fans following the game. He wrote: "Been very blessed and fortunate to play for this team. We will be back!! Thank you!"
 
Dom Barrow, who started the semi-final at Allianz Park at the end of his first season at Welford Road, tweeted: “Thanks for all the support we've had this season. Saturday wasn't our day but we will be stronger for the experiences of this season.”
 
Lachlan McCaffrey, another player who has finished his first season with Tigers, added: “Season over, loved every minute playing in this jersey! See you next season”
 
While hooker Greg Bateman tweeted: "Loved my first season at @LeicesterTigers. Disappointing finish but bigger and better next year!"
