Leicester Tigers have lined up a pre-season double header at Welford Road during August Bank Holiday weekend.
A fixture against neighbours Nottingham Rugby has been added to the programme for Friday, August 26, when Tigers also hosts a game against the Ospreys to allow the playing squad to gain valuable gametime in preparation for the new season.
Kick-off against Championship side Nottingham is at 5.00pm, with the Ospreys to follow at 7.45pm on the final weekend before each club kicks off its league programme.
Nottingham will be making a first visit to Welford Road since August 2012, while the Ospreys have been regular rivals in European and Anglo-Welsh competition but have also not made the journey to the East Midlands since the 2012/13 campaign.
Admission to the pre-season double header, alongside all games in league and cups, is included in Leicester Tigers season tickets for 2016/17. Season tickets are available for sale and renewal now.
