Tigers join record crowds at Rutland Show

Figure image
The sun shone and temperatures soared as Leicester Tigers joined a record-breaking crowd at the Rutland Show.

The Maul, the Tigers Roadshow Vehicle, was part of a fun-filled day attended by huge numbers at the Rutland Showground, Oakham.

Tigers took the Big Boot, the popular half-time entertainment on matchdays at Welford Road, into the Rutland Ring with people of all ages having a go.

Club mascot Welford paid a visit and there was the chance to take on the tackle bag and the Speed Pass Challenge as well as sign up to the Junior Tigers Club and to this summer’s Tigers Rugby Camps.

The Maul is back on the road this Sunday (June 12) when it will be at Picnic in the Park at Coalville Park in London Road, Coalville, where Tigers will be part of the Rugby Village.
