Anthony Allen will pass on some of his vast playing and coaching experience when he visits the Tigers Rugby Camp in Jersey next month.

Jersey RFC is the venue for the Leicester Tigers Ashburton Investments Camp, which runs from July 18-22 for U9s to U14s. There is also a tag camp from July 18-20 for U7s and U8s.

Former England international Allen was a lynchpin of the Tigers backline before retiring from the game last year. He made more than 120 appearances for the Tigers, winning the Premiership title in 2010 and again in 2013. He is now passing on his rugby knowledge to the Tigers Academy based at the Oval Park training ground.

Allen is due to visit the Tigers Ashburton Investments Camp at Jersey RFC on Thursday, July 21 when he will lead some of the training sessions and host a Q&A about life as a professional rugby player and running the Tigers Academy.

The camp is the first of the summer. Tigers will host rugby camps based at clubs and schools in Lincolnshire, Norfolk, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Leicestershire and the Channel Islands during the rest of the summer holidays.
