Will Evans and his England colleagues are through to the final of the World Rugby Under-20 Championship after a 39-17 victory over South Africa at the Manchester City Academy Stadium on Monday evening.

England will play Ireland in Saturday’s final at the AJ Bell Stadium (7pm).

Evans played a prominent part as he started his third consecutive game at openside flanker.

England raced into a 31-3 before half-time but was yellow-carded just before the break.

Head coach Haag said: "The first half was outstanding, we played with pace and transitioned well between defence and attack – our defence was strong and we scored some tries off the back of that.”
