One of Europe’s leading professional sports team and supporter travel companies, Thomas Cook Sport provides a range of bespoke services to teams and supporters.

Thomas Cook Sport is a trading division of Thomas Cook Group which is now celebrating its 175th anniversary. Thomas Cook was born in Leicester, and is the oldest and best-known name in leisure travel with customers in 15 countries and serving more than 20 million customers.

As the only club to qualify for the elite tournament in every season of English participation, Leicester Tigers are preparing for the club’s 20th season of European competition and the club is well known for the strength of support for the team both in England and abroad.

After agreeing a three-year partnership with the Tigers, Thomas Cook Sport is working with the club to put together ticket and hotel packages for supporters travelling to home games at Welford Road, supporter travel and accommodation for away games including matches in the European Champions Cup and also all Tigers team travel.

Thomas Cook UK managing director Chris Mottershead said: “We are very proud to be celebrating our 175th anniversary. We have come a long way since 1841, but the same values and focus on the customer that drove our founder are still as relevant today as they were all those years ago.

“We are excited about our new partnership with Leicester Tigers and look forward to serving our customers for many, many years to come.”

Chris Rose, Leicester Tigers head of brand, added: “With 175 years of travel experience, we’re sure that Thomas Cook will be able to provide the best service for our supporter and team travel, particularly with our numerous trips to Europe, and we’re pleased to welcome such a big brand with great local connections to the Tigers Family.”
