Leicester Tigers will be at the BGL Sports Bash in Stamford on Friday in support of the Matt Hampson Foundation, Seb Goold Trust and George Robinson Trust (#teamgeorge), the club charities for the 2016/17 season.

The BGL Sport Bash will be held in the main field at Stamford School in Stamford, Lincolnshire, and Tigers will be bringing the roadshow vehicle, the Maul, and running the Big Boot, the popular half-time entertainment on matchdays at Welford Road.

The The BGL Sport Basht has become an established event over the last few years, which features a celebrity cricket match, live music, food and drink and plenty of free activities.

It supports the Matt Hampson Foundation by distributing all fundraising proceeds within the hospitality marquee to the foundation.

This year's celebrity cricket match will see a Dean Headley XI take on a Local Legends XI, made up of a player from each club from the surrounding areas of Stamford. Joining Dean Headley are Phil DeFrietas, Usman Afzaal, Rob Key, Owais Shah, Ed Giddins, Warren Hegg, Geraint Jones, Simon Jones, Min Patel and Australia’s Greg Matthews.
