The Maul, the Tigers roadshow vehicle, today joins Scouts from more than 20 countries at an international camp in Leicestershire.
Leicestershire’s 8th International Scout and Guide Camp, known as Charnwood 2016, is being held near Loughborough and attended by more than 300 visitors from overseas as well as county and UK Scout groups.
The roadshow team will be running the speedpass challenge, encouraging Scouts to take on the tackle bag and introducing them to club mascot Welford.
The team will also be promoting the fifth annual Scouts Day at Welford Road, when Tigers will celebrate the Scout and Guide Movement at the home game with Harlequins on Sunday, November 20 (3pm kick-off).
Last season, Tigers welcomed more than 1,000 members of the county’s Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorer Groups for the annual Scout Day.
