The team from Wyggeston & Queen Elizabeth I College recorded their first win of the season on Wednesday when they triumphed 34-20 away to Moulton College in Northamptonshire.
The WQE team, featuring Leicester Tigers Academy players, scored five tries from Oscar Harper (2), Owen Mills, Luqman Said and Fergus Dobson, with fly-half Sam Wager adding three conversions and a penalty.
Moulton scored four tries but were unable to catch the visitors’ score.
WQE are in action again next Wednesday, against Gosforth, at Oval Park.
