Team news: Tigers at Sale Sharks

Tom Brady makes his Leicester Tigers debut against former club Sale Sharks at the AJ Bell Stadium this weekend in Round 5 of the Aviva Premiership season.

The Manchester-born wing made more than 100 appearances for the Sharks before moving to Leicester this summer and is called into the team for Saturday in place of JP Pietersen who was withdrawn at half-time in the win over Bath last weekend.

Brady has played in both Premiership ‘A’ League fixtures so far, scoring a try in the win over Wasps in Round 1 of the second-team campaign.

Another summer signing, George McGuigan, returns to the starting line-up at hooker and is joined by international props Ellis Genge and Dan Cole in the front row.

Ed Slater leads the team with club captain Tom Youngs starting among the replacements.

Samoa international prop Logovi’i Mulipola is in line for his first Premiership appearance of the season after being named among the replacements. Mulipola had surgery on a knee injury during the summer but has played in both ‘A’ League fixtures this month. Dom Barrow also returns to the matchday squad after sitting out the last three games.
