Team news: Tigers versus Glasgow Warriors

Figure image
Jack Roberts and Luke Hamilton are recalled to the Leicester Tigers starting line-up for the European Champions Cup fixture against Glasgow Warriors this Saturday at Welford Road.

The Welsh duo were both among the replacements in last weekend’s defeat by Racing 92 in Paris but have a place in the starting team for the final fixture in Pool 1.

Roberts joins Peter Betham at centre in the only change to the backline from last week, while Lachlan McCaffrey moves across the back row to accommodate Hamilton at No8.

Greg Bateman comes into the front row alongside England internationals Tom Youngs and Dan Cole.

Dom Barrow, who has come through a stand-down period after concussion, is included in the matchday 23 for the first time since the Round 2 victory over Racing at Welford Road and there is also a place among the replacements for fly-half Owen Williams after recovering from an elbow injury.

Tickets for Saturday are still available from the Tigers ticket office. Call in at Welford Road, phone 0116 319 8888 (option 2) or click here to book online.
