Opta stats point to captain's innings from Barrow

It was a captain's innings from Dom Barrow against Harlequins on Friday night, according to the Aviva Premiership's official statisticians Opta.

The second-rower made 19 tackles in the 27-18 victory at the Twickenham Stoop, more than any other player in the fixture and joint third across Round 16 of the Aviva Premiership. Mike Fitzgerald was next for Tigers with 16 tackles.
 
Barrow, who captained Tigers for a first time in the Aviva Premiership, also topped the team stats for lineouts won with six. Fitzgerald was next with four. And Barrow also stole Quins ball at two lineouts, a high across the Aviva Premiership in Round 16.
 
Maxime Mermoz shone in attack. The France international beat five defenders and made two offloads, both team highs. Greg Bateman also beat five defenders in his two clean breaks, the most by a Tigers player in the fixture.
 
Telusa Veainu made the most metres with 123m. JP Pietersen was next for Tigers with 63m and Freddie Burns was third with 55m.
