Dan Cole will move level with Phil Vickery as England's second most-capped prop when the Red Rose play Scotland at Twickenham on Saturday.
Cole has been named in the starting XV for England’s final home game of this season’s RBS 6 Nations (kick-off 4pm, live on ITV).
The Leicester Tigers prop will win his 73rd cap for England, moving him level with World Cup winner Vickery. Jason Leonard is England’s most-capped prop with 114 appearances.
Ben Youngs starts at scrum-half in one of three changes to the starting XV that beat Italy in the third round of fixtures. Jonathan Joseph (Bath Rugby) starts at centre and Jack Nowell (Exeter Chiefs) is named on the wing.
Anthony Watson (Bath Rugby) and Billy Vunipola (Saracens) return to an England match-day 23 for the first time in this year’s Championship having both returned from injury. They are joined by Danny Care (Harlequins) and Ben Te’o (Worcester Warriors) in the only other changes to the bench.
Saturday’s match will see Joe Marler (Harlequins) win his 50th cap having made his England debut against South Africa at Kings Park Stadium in Durban in 2012. To mark the milestone Marler will lead the team out of the tunnel for England’s 124th Calcutta Cup game.
