Choice Unlimited returns to Welford Road

Choice Unlimited, a UK wide road show aimed at disabled people, older people and carers, returns to Welford Road for the third year running this Wednesday (April 26).

Choice Unlimited Leicester – which is in its sixth year - will showcase the diversity of information, services, products, ideas and innovation that is available to support independent living.
 
Held in the Holland & Barrett Stand at Welford Road, The free-to-attend event is organised by Leicestershire Centre for Integrated Living (LCiL) a disability charity that aims to empower disabled people and organisations to respond positively to disability and equality issues.
 
Exhibitors will cover issues like accommodation, transport, education and training as well as services for carers and personal support.
 
Katie Glaze, Tigers conference & events manager, said: “It’s fantastic to welcome back Choice Unlimited to Welford Road for what we know will be great event.

"It’s a great opportunity for those looking for support with independent living to discover the products and services available and the fact it’s now its sixth year shows just how popular the event is.
 
“We’re expecting around 1,500 people to attend throughout the day, which highlights just how versatile Welford Road is as a venue Welford Road for businesses and organisations.

"With the rugby season coming to a close, the summer continues to be a busy period for us with Welford Roads facilities used for a host of events.”
