Leicester Tigers fans will travel in their thousands to the Aviva Premiership semi-final against Wasps in Coventry next Saturday.

Wasps secured a home draw in the semi-final with their top-spot finish in the league table after 22 rounds, while Tigers booked their place in the knockout rounds for a 13th successive season by taking 14 points from the final three fixtures.

The Tigers' initial allocation of match tickets sold out to season ticket holders in just 90 minutes on Wednesday morning but the club received a second batch of seats and these remain on general sale from the Tigers ticket office.

Wasps have announced sales of more than 26,000 with a week to go until the big game and a sell-out is expected.

Chris Rose, head of brand at Leicester Tigers, said: “We’re proud to be taking such a strong following down the M69. Following Wasps’ move up from the south, it’s only intensified the rivalry between the two clubs and the stage is definitely set for a great match-up.

“On the back of welcoming a record-breaking number of fans through the turnstiles at Welford Road this season, we’ll be operating coaches from our home stadium on the day and send a huge thanks to our amazing fans yet again.”

Tickets at the Tigers ticket office are priced £19-£45 for adults, with rates for seniors, youth, juniors and under-10s, and can be purchased in person at Welford Road or by phoning 0116 319 8888 (option 2). The office and phone lines are open 9.00am-5.00pm Monday-Saturday. Or book online any time by clicking here.
