The first Asda Foundation Leicester 10K takes place on Sunday, September 3 and the Leicester Tigers Foundation is looking for volunteers to take part.
Starting and finishing in Abbey Park, the Foundation hopes to raise money from the run to continue to support its work across the community with the help of staff, supporters and club partners. The run is organised by Run For All who deliver running events across the UK.
We’re asking runners to pledge to raise at least £250 and in return, the Foundation will supply:
- Tigers Foundation running space
- Tigers Foundation Run For All t-shirt
- Tickets to a Tigers home game for the 2017/18 season at Welford Road
- Plus a picture on the Welford Road pitch during a specified Tigers matchday
The Foundation will also set up and support your very own Just Giving page to help you keep track of any sponsorship raised.
Runners of all abilities are welcome, but there are limited spaces available. Entrants must be aged 15 years or over on event day. If you are interested in getting involved, contact Jess Hilder by emailing [email protected] or phoning 0116 217 1343 to confirm your place.
