The game was played in wet and windy weather conditions making handling difficult, while the pitch was muddy after heavy rain.
Tigers led 3-0 at the break through a first-half penalty by fly-half Ollie Bryant.
Tigers scored the only try of the game in the second period when scrum-half George Tresidder crossed the whitewash, and Bryant added the conversion.
Tigers Academy manager Neil McCarthy said: "It was a great game played in some difficult conditions, and was a great advert for under-18s rugby."
The Tigers Academy return to action at Welford Road is this Sunday when they face England Under-18s. Kick-off on Easter Sunday is at 1pm and entry is free in the Holland & Barrett Stand.
Tigers have already beaten England and Wales at Under-18 level at Welford Road this season, as well as recording a win over Canada Under-19s.
McCarthy said: "We get a lot out of these international fixtures because we see our players in a different environment and addressing different challenges.
"Now we've got England Under-18s - selected from the clubs and schools set-up - and it would be great to keep our winning run going. It's another big match for the team at Welford Road where we've had great support this season."
