Capped 67 times by Australia, scoring 31 tries, Fijian-born Tuqiri joined Tigers in the autumn of 2009 and made his debut as a replacement in the victory over South Africa.

Originally a rugby league star with Brisbane Broncos, Tuqiri moved to union in 2002 and played Super 12/14 rugby with the Waratahs in New South Wales.

Scored a try against England in the final of the Rugby World Cup in 2003.
