Supporters’ Player of the Season and top try-scorer in 2009/10, Hamilton clocked up his 50th appearance for Tigers in the match against Bath in April 2010, just 14 months after his arrival from New Zealand.
In a phenomenal year, Hamilton collected Air New Zealand Cup, Super 14 and Guinness Premiership winner’s medals in 2008/09 - just missing out on a cleansweep in the Heineken Cup Final when Tigers were narrowly beaten by Leinster.
Signed by Tigers during the 2008 autumn internationals, Scott scored his first try in the Heineken Cup away tie against Perpignan and was named Newcomer of the Year by supporters.
He picked up a second Premiership winner’s medal in 2010, playing a vital role in the match-winning score for Dan Hipkiss at Twickenham.
Despite not making his school’s first XV as a teenager, Scott made up for lost time and grabbed a match-winning try on his first start for New Zealand, against Argentina in 2006.
