Tigers quartet named for U-20s trip to Wales

Tigers duo Alex Shaw and Tom Youngs return to the starting line-up with England U-20s this week alongside clubmate Dan Cole. A fourth Leicester player, wing Ollie Dodge, has been named among the replacements.

Prop Cole retains his place for the Six Nations test against Wales U-20s at Newport on Friday evening, while Shaw and Youngs are elevated from the bench after last week's defeat by France U-21s.

Shaw is named at blindside, completing the back row alongside Andy Saull of Saracens and Hugo Ellis of London Wasps. Youngs, who made his Tigers first-team debut this season as a centre, is called up on the wing.

England U-20s coach Nigel Redman said: "In the first half against France we performed well against a bigger, older and talented side. We want the guys to go out and express themselves for 80 minutes."

England U-20s started the season with a 31-5 win over their Scottish counterparts, with Dodge among the try-scorers, and followed that up with a 30-10 win over Italy U-21s before successive defeats by Ireland U-20s (13-6) and France U-21s (32-13).

Coverage of Friday's match is to be shown on BBC2 Wales.
