Welford Rd goes pink for Breast Cancer Care

Figure image
The Guinness Premiership is turning pink this weekend to raise funds and awareness for Breast Cancer Care, and you can play your part.

Volunteers from Breast Cancer Care will be onsite across all six Guinness Premiership fixtures, including Leicester Tigers’ home match against Bristol Rugby on Saturday (3pm kick-off).

They will be selling ‘Tackled Pink’ pin badges around the ground and information leaflets will be distributed.

Welford Road’s ABC Bar will be decorated in pink and include a Breast Cancer Care stand where supporters can find out more about the charity.

Saturday’s match officials are also wearing pink – so why not follow their example and deck yourself out in pink for Tigers’ penultimate home match of the regular season? You’ll be raising awareness and supporting a good cause while cheering on Tigers in a vital Guinness Premiership match.

Tickets are still available for Saturday’s match and, as a special offer, women can purchase £23 tickets to the game for just £15 (two tickets per transaction when calling the Tigers ticket hotline on 08701 28 34 30). A £5 donation will then be made direct to Breast Cancer Care.
