From a family of Tigers supporters, Billy Hull played his early rugby at Syston RFC, the club of many former Leicester players including Louis and Brett Deacon, Matt Hampson and Matt Cornwell.
He was selected for the DPP group at Stoneygate and from there entered the academy ranks in 2018, playing at both fly-half and centre.
“The DPP group was good, not just in the rugby skills but also in teaching you about how to be professional,” he says. “You learned about your development, lifestyle and the education round that like nutrition,” he says.
