A Premiership finalist in his first four seasons at the club, Stankovich captained Tigers for the first time in a Cup tie at Exeter in January 2011 and marked the occasion with his only try of the season.

He played in the Anglo-Welsh Cup Final win over Northampton in 2011/12 and made a total of 119 appearances for the club.

He joined Newport Gwent Dragons in the summer of 2014 and then had a spell at Coventry before returning to Tigers after Richard Cockerill’s departure in January 201.

As scrum coach, he works on the set-piece throughout the ranks at Tigers.
