A scrum-half from Matlock in Derbyshire, Harris Orridge Du Bois graduated from the Leicester Tigers DPP centre at Mount St Mary’s joining the club’s academy in the summer of 2017.
“Diccon Edwards was head coach there and he was really good with us. He has a really smart mindset for the game, he sees things you’d never thought of before,” says Harris, who was also influenced by Ryan Fitzsimmons and Martin Swindell in his time there.
Harris played minis and juniors rugby at Matlock RFC after being introduced to the sport by his dad. “I remember we won the Tigers Challenge at Skegness one year, I think it was under-13s,” he says.
A big fan of rugby league, Harris also identifies cross-fit athlete Mat Fraser among his sporting influences. “His work ethic is exceptional,” he says.
