Edinburgh-born hooker Jake Kerr gained Scotland representative honours at two age levels before moving south to study at Loughborough University and then gained a first Test cap after resurrecting his professional career at Leicester.
A Scottish Schools Cup winner on three occasions, he played for Watsonians and Boroughmuir as well as earning international honours at under-18 and under-20 level.
Jake studied economics at Loughborough and played in National League rugby before joining up with Tigers in the summer of 2017.
He established himself in 2018/19 with 22 first-team appearances as well as being chosen by supporters as their Young Player of the Year, and earned a Test cap in the Six Nations win over Italy.
From a sporting family, younger brother Josh is an international athlete, winning a European Junior 1,500 metres title, and dad John played representative rugby for Scotland Sevens and Scotland ‘A’ in the 1990s.
