With a family home in Oadby, just up the road from the club’s training ground, centre Matt Potts knows all about the reputation and expectation of Leicester Tigers.
Matt represented Leicestershire age-groups as a cricketer, played his club games at Houghton-on-the-Hill CC, and also played football before focusing on rugby.
He played his early rugby at Oadby Wyggestonian, who share the Tigers’ facilities at Oval Park, and under the experienced eyes of former Tigers duo Troy Thacker and Harry Ellis at Leicester Grammar School where he is also studying for ‘A’ Levels.
