As an all-round sportsman, Roman Priestley-Nagle sampled football, basketball, cricket, boxing and mixed martial arts before making progress through the age-group levels in rugby and has followed older brother Stone into the academy ranks at Tigers.
“My family are big football fans and I was playing football when my brother started doing well at rugby and I thought I’d give it a try,” says Roman.
“I played at centre, then moved to full-back and then wing and I got into the DPP at Nottingham and played in the Wellington Festival before coming into the academy.”
