Club Partner Dyno-Rod have extended their support of the club with the first-ever sponsorship of Leicester Tigers Down Syndrome rugby, in conjunction with the Leicester Tigers Foundation.
Dyno-Rod are providing further funding for the team, which will all go toward the running of the programme, helping with equipment and providing the best environment for participants.
Leicester Tigers Down Syndrome rugby has gone from strength to strength since it's inception in October 2023, a time which has seen sessions run every other week, visits to matchdays at Mattioli Woods Welford Road and collaborative sessions with other rugby clubs, such as Sale Sharks.
Funding has been provided from the Leicester Tigers Foundation, with further funds raised through the recent Leicester 10k, and through a collaboration with Stand Out socks, where all proceeds go toward the programme. The support from Dyno-Rod will go a long way to furthering the success' of the first year of operation.
Sessions are every other Sunday from 11:30am, with experienced community coaches and are open to all ages. You can sign up via the form below.
Speaking about the sponsorship Dyno-Rod National Network Performance and Strategy Manager, Lee Parry, said "We are ecstatic to be supporting the Down Syndrome programme.

Leicester Tigers Disability & Inclusion officer Megan Kirby added "We were delighted to hear that Dyno-Rod wanted to support the DS programme. Their funding will go a long way in continuing what we have built so far and continuing to unite the rugby and down syndrome community both in Leicester and across the East-Midlands."
