Hitz & Education Project Officer

Reports to: Hitz Manager
Salary: £18k per annum OTE

Main Areas of Responsibility:

• To recruit to and assist in, planning and delivering Leicester Tigers Hitz, National Citizen Service and Education and Inclusion activities.

Main Tasks:

• To recruit and engage NEETS and Young People for the Leicester Tigers Community Learning and Social Action programmes.

• To deliver an exciting and attractive, rugby/sports-led educational programme which stimulates the interest of all participants.

• To support and promote the fund raising activities of the Leicester Tigers Community Foundation.

• To run, deliver & administer various Foundation Programmes.

• To support any other Community / Foundation initiatives with which the Club is associated.

• To carry out any other duties and tasks required by management, which are within the post-holder's capabilities.

• To assist in Tigers vision to make Leicester Tigers the best rugby team in the world.

• Possess an enjoyment for working with and supporting people of all ages, cultures and abilities;

• Good communicator with sound presentation skills in a teaching / coaching environment;

• Ability to set and maintain standards of behaviour and act as role model to young people;

• Awareness of the legislation, equality and health and safety needs for working within the community environment;

• NGB Level 1 relevant sports coaching qualification and an interest in sport in general;

• Experience in working with young people at a variety of levels including leading and motivational skills;

• Possess sound numeracy, literacy and IT skills; qualified to GCSE Level C or above in Maths & English;

• Willingness to carry out further training and personal development;

• Flexible approach to working and an ability to accept change and unsociable hours as needed;

• Possess valid UK driving licence;

• Willing to undertake an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Check

Game Keeper

Core Hours of Work: Match days plus non match weekends and evenings when required
Reports to: Head of Customer Services
Salary: £6.50 p/h + Holiday Pay

Main Tasks and Areas of Responsibility

• To be the first point of contact for all fans attending Welford Road and to interact with them and provide relevant information to ensure they have a positive match day experience.
• To assist in guiding supporters to the relevant turnstiles and to their allocated seats as necessary.
• To monitor and respond to any text messages received from the match day text service.
• To support and assist in the running of all match day activities as and when necessary.
• To assist in the transportation of all supporters to the ground via our various bus routes and shuttle buses services from surrounding car parks.
• To handle any queries and complaints and deal with customers in a professional and courteous manner, and ensure service excellence is maintained at all times.
• To carry out any other duties and tasks required by management, which are within the post-holder's capabilities.

Centerplate UK

Centerplate UK the proud catering partners to Leicester Tigers Football Club are now recruiting for the 2014/15 rugby season.

We are looking for experienced hospitality and retail catering staff with winning personalities and bags of confidence to join this fast paced and fun environment.

Leicester Tigers will play between 16-18 home games, mainly at weekends and we are looking to recruit the following positions:

Hospitality Managers - to oversee corporate hospitality for up to 400 guests

Bar Supervisors - for corporate areas for up to 400 guests

Hospitality Food & Beverage Staff

Retail Catering / Kiosk Staff

We offer competitive rates of pay and the opportunity to work alongside two winning teams - Centerplate UK and Leicester Tigers.
