Conference & Events Co-Ordinator

Responsible to: Head of Conference & Events

Main Area of Responsibility:

• To be part of the team which co-ordinates non-match day events at the stadium.

Key tasks:

• To deal with incoming telephone calls and emails and action accordingly

• To be responsible for all internal bookings

• To be responsible for Christmas Party Nights co-ordination

• One day a week to assist in sales activites for the department

• To assist in the production of the weekly function sheet

• To be responsible for all own admin to do with bookings i.e, including taking and processing of deposits and checking final invoices

• To be responsible for a weekly equipment and linen order

• To conduct show rounds of the stadium to potential clients

• To ensure that all information relating to a client's event is detailed in the computer system and updated accordingly

• To help with organising and attend any open days, familiarsation visits and wedding fairs organised by the club

• To make sales calls to potential clients who have already requested information

• To have a clear understanding of what the required budget is on a month by month basis as well as on an annual basis

• To ensure that all bookings taken are profitable and in line with current prices

• To carry out any other duties and tasks required by management, which are within the post-holder's capabilities

• To assist in Tigers vision to make Leicester Tigers the best rugby team in the world

• Office hours are Monday to Friday although due to the nature of the business some weekend and evening work will be required in line with events

• To be a good self starter/motivator

• To have good common sense and be able to work on their own intiative

• Good time management skills

• To demonstrate flair and enthusiasm for co-ordinating all types of events

• Well dressed and groomed in their personal appearance

• Someone who takes a pride in their work and wants to constantly exceed client and colleague expectations.

Essential Qualities

• Experience of working in Conference Office i.e stadium or hotel/conference centre is preferred

• To be computer literate and be able to use word, excel, powerpoint, internet and email proficiently

• To have a confident telephone manner

• To have excellent customer care skills

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Good attention to detail

• Be confident to make outbound sales calls

• To be a good team player

Game Keeper

Core Hours of Work: Match days plus non match weekends and evenings when required
Reports to: Head of Customer Services
Salary: £6.50 p/h + Holiday Pay

Main Tasks and Areas of Responsibility

• To be the first point of contact for all fans attending Welford Road and to interact with them and provide relevant information to ensure they have a positive match day experience.
• To assist in guiding supporters to the relevant turnstiles and to their allocated seats as necessary.
• To monitor and respond to any text messages received from the match day text service.
• To support and assist in the running of all match day activities as and when necessary.
• To assist in the transportation of all supporters to the ground via our various bus routes and shuttle buses services from surrounding car parks.
• To handle any queries and complaints and deal with customers in a professional and courteous manner, and ensure service excellence is maintained at all times.
• To carry out any other duties and tasks required by management, which are within the post-holder's capabilities.

Centerplate UK the proud catering partners to Leicester Tigers Football Club are now recruiting for the 2014/15 rugby season.

We are looking for experienced hospitality and retail catering staff with winning personalities and bags of confidence to join this fast paced and fun environment.

Leicester Tigers will play between 16-18 home games, mainly at weekends and we are looking to recruit the following positions:

Hospitality Managers - to oversee corporate hospitality for up to 400 guests

Bar Supervisors - for corporate areas for up to 400 guests

Hospitality Food & Beverage Staff

Retail Catering / Kiosk Staff
