On Saturday 9 February, Tigers welcomed London Welsh for their first competitive game at Welford Road.

Leicester Tigers won 28-12 with tries coming from Adam Thompstone, Niall Morris and Dan Bowden with George Ford returning from England Saxons duty to kick over three penalties and a conversion to send Tigers straight to the top of the Aviva Premiership table.

The JTC VIP area had two special themes this week. A  table full of pancake activities to get you in the mood for Shrove Tuesday and the Arts & Crafts table was set up with pink and red hearts to make Valentine’s Day cards to send out to your loved ones. Everyone was kept busy..

Wessel Jooste was the guest in the JTC VIP area, and Michael Noone also popped down to help out at the Crusha milkshake bar.

Wessel Jooste answered all  your burning questions and also picked the lucky winner to be our JTC Mascot and Tiger Cubs lucky winners got the chance to run out onto the famous Welford Road pitch!

If you want to be the JTC mascot but wasn’t lucky at the last game, then you can always try for the next home match against Saracens on February 23. Just look out for the mascot form attached to the Splat on the Wednesday before the game and get a parent to fill it in. You can also double your chances by filling in your name on the mascot entry when you sign in at reception on match day.

On Saturday February 23, 8pm K.O Leicester Tigers will be facing Saracens here at Welford Road. This game is always a favourite amongst the crowds with the rivalry both these teams have.

The JTC VIP area will open at 6.30pm as we’ll be showing the two Six Nations games before hand. One of those games being England vs France.

We’ll have a pyjama theme running throughout the JTC so look out for the night time themed activities going on!

Don’t forget to check here http://www.leicestertigers.com/fans/jtc/whats_on.php after 5pm on the Friday before the game to see who will be joining us in the JTC VIP area to answer all of your questions.
