Ed Slater has been nominated for the Aviva Premiership Try of the Week for his second try against Sale Sharks on Saturday.

The try gave Tigers a 27-3 lead at half-time and set them on their way to a 48-10 bonus-point win at Welford Road.

Slater will be hoping to follow Dan Bowden, who won the Try of the Week in Round 16 for his score against Saracens. The try was also voted Try of the Month on Sunday night’s Aviva Premiership highlights show on ITV.
