Tigers duo included in final England Squad ahead of 2024 Six Nations

Leicester Tigers players Amy Cokayne and Meg Jones have been named in the final England squad ahead of the 2024 Guinness Six Nations.

Amy Cokayne, with 72 international appearances, returns from a calf injury which has kept her from international competition since last year's tournament, where she scored twice against Scotland in the side's opening fixture.

The hooker made her return from injury and Leicester Tigers debut in the home clash with Trailfinders Women and made her first start for the club a week later away at Saracens.

Centre Meg Jones, with 16 caps, returns to the Red Roses after playing a key role in the Red Roses' inaugural WXV tournament victory in New Zealand last October.

The versatile playmaker, who also co-captains the Team GB 7s side, has starred for Tigers this year, starting every game and scoring five tries, 19 conversions and two penalties, her total of 69 points the fourth highest in Allianz Premiership Women's Rugby.

The tournament itself begins on Saturday March 23, with England opening their campaign by taking on Italy away at the Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi on Sunday, 24 March (kick off: 3pm).
