Manu Tuilagi made two turnovers in the space of 20 minutes on his return to action for Leicester Tigers, according to Aviva Premiership statisticians Opta.

Tuilagi’s teammate Freddie Burns, who passed 1,000 Premiership points during the game, also made two turnovers in the 21-16 win at Bristol Rugby, the third highest across the round.

Ellis Genge made 14 carries against his former club, including the one that led to his second-half try. It was the most by a Tigers player in the game. Ed Slater and Luke Hamilton made 12 carries each, according to Opta.

George Worth, on his first Aviva Premiership start, made more metres than any other Tiger in the game with 64m. Tom Brady was close behind with 60m.

Graham Kitchener claimed six lineouts at Ashton Gate. It took him to 51 for the Aviva Premiership season behind only James Horwill of Harlequins (56) and Sale’s Josh Beaumont (55).

Kitchener also stole one Bristol lineout, but was behind second-row colleague Slater, who made two steals on home ball.
