Love was in the air for our Valentine's themed match on Friday, February 13 as Freddie Burns kicked Tigers to a 18-15 win over his brother's team Gloucester Rugby! With over 20,000 fans attending the game the JTC VIP area was full of buzzing members not only making the most of the free activities in the JTC VIP Area, but also the free carnival games outside on the plaza! You could test your accuracy at darts and take on the strongman challenge for your chance to win 2 tickets to the next match!
Riccardo Brugnara and Ed Milne made a special guest appearance for the player question and answer session. We learnt that Riccardo has had to cut down on pizza - his favorite food, and that Ed loved making his senior Leicester Tigers debut in the LV= Cup earlier this year! They also helped us draw the lucky winners to be a Tiger Cub and do a lap of the pitch. The lucky winners were Alastair Tomlinson, Jack Bower, Adam Painter and Ben Collins! Our matchday mascots were Brandon Harrison and Niki Kardooni who got to run out on to the pitch with captain Jordan Crane in front of over 20,000 fans!
If you would like to be a Tiger Cub, matchday mascot or to Challenge Welford during half-time of the next match against Sale Sharks, make sure you come down to the JTC VIP Area 2 hours before kick-off and put your name in to the draw!
See you soon!
