England Men’s ‘A’ have defeated Portugal 91-5 at Mattioli Woods Welford Road in Leicester, Tigers flyhalf Jamie Shillcock scoring a wonder try in the second half to compliment an outstanding performance from Leicester prop Joe Heyes.
England shot out to a 50-0 lead in the first half, over 15000 spectators being treated to some running rugby at Tigers home ground.
Portugal, missing their Rugby World Cup stars, were incredibly brave in defence in the second half and were rewarded with a stunning score from flyhalf Manuel Vareiro, but the day belonged to England, the final score 91-5
