Leicester Tigers take on Trailfinders Women for the third time this season when the sides meet on Sunday afternoon in London.

The Tigers women's squad are looking to exact a measure of retribution after two defeats against the same opposition in Allianz Premiership Women's Rugby, including a tough loss at Mattioli Woods Welford.

Trailfinders have quality throughout their ranks, having recruited extensively over the summer, which includes an exceptionally physical pac led by prop Liz Crake (who has already scored four tries in this fixture this season) and former Red Rose Rowena Burnfield. In the backs there is lightning pace, including GB 7s star Abi Burton and England wing Vicky Laflin, who has been released for this match by the Red Roses.

The hosts are coming into the match with a week's rest after not featuring last weekend, while Leicester travel south following a home defeat to Harlequins 19-33.

In a game of two halves, Harlequins dominated the first 40 minutes which saw them take a 26-point lead into the break, with Leicester unable to trouble the scoreboard attendant.

However, Tigers rallied in the second-half with three tries to the lone score from Quins but fell agonisingly short of a comeback victory.

The team, announced this morning, features the return of Charlotte Daley to the starting side, joining Zoë Evans and Amanda Swartz in the back-three, for the trip to London. Meanwhile, Leicester's American and Canadian contingent are unavailable for selection while away on international duty, joining the English and Scottish Test players who in action for their respective nations in the penultimate round of the Guinness Women's Six Nations.
